NITK Surathkal Team provides Technical support to Medical team for COVID19 emergencies

NITK Surathkal , Centre for System Design team has been involved in technical support during the COVID19 medical emergency period. Centre for System Design, Associate Faculty have been members of different national volunteering team to provide quick technical solutions to medical teams to find any emergency situations. One of the activities progressed well is double the capacity of Ventilation machine available throughout the country through using simple 3D printed components for Circuit splitter and flow regulator for Devices for Multiple patient lung ventilation. Nearby medical institutions like KSHEMA is helping the team to test the devices.
